Meet the 2023 Jeep Gladiator
The ’23 Jeep Gladiator has a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine that produces an impressive 285 horsepower with 260lb-ft of maximum torque. The Gladiator gas models have a 7,700lb max towing capacity. If you are looking for better fuel economy, choose a model with a 3.0L V6 diesel engine. The diesel engine produces 260 horsepower with 442lb-ft of maximum torque combined, to give you a 6,500lb maximum towing capacity.
New in 2023
The limited-edition Freedom package is now available on the ’23 Gladiator Sport S trims. This package honors US servicemen and women with a military-themed exterior, including a unique steel bumper and rock sliders.
The Capability package is also available for the High Altitude models this year. This package includes a steel front bumper that is winch capable, a front off-road camera, steel rock sliders, and more. The Willy’s model Gladiator has received more standard features, like remote start and keyless entry.
Fuel Economy
While the ’23 Jeep Gladiator shines on the trails, it also gets a very respectable 16mpg in the city and 23mpg on the highway. However, if you opt for the diesel model, your fuel economy bumps up to an EPA-estimated 22mpg in the city and 28mpg on the highway.
